Next week's fieldtrip is now fast approaching. I've been busy finalising details of our programme for next week with the field centre.
Here's a summary of what we will be doing over our three days away and details of what you need to bring with you.
Wednesday
- Leave school at 8.30am
- Lunch at the field centre when we arrive
- Afternoon: environmental and land use surveys in Abergavenny
- Evening: dinner, follow-up work and then free time in the games and common rooms
Thursday
- Rivers investigation all day, in the Brecon Beacons, learning about different river features and processes
- Packed lunch provided
- Evening: dinner, follow-up work and then free time in the games and common rooms
Friday
- Morning: visit to Blaenafon World Heritage Site and Big Pit coal mine tour
- Packed lunch provided
- Afternoon: coach back to school
