Landscape in a Box

As part of their work on the Fantastic Places topic students in Year 7 have researched their own choice of landscape. For homework the students made models of their chosen landscapes and prepared a talk about the landscape for their classmates. A selection of their finished models can be seen below.

Fantastic Maps of Fantastic Places

To start our new topic Year 7 have produced world maps of places they think are 'fantastic', made up of a mixture of places they have been and would like to visit. Take a look at a few of their maps below.

What's holding Malawi back?

Here is a display of work done by Year 10 students as a review of the Malawi case study which they have studied as part of their learning about the Development Dynamics topic on the new Edexcel B 2016 specification. Using their subject knowledge they had to identify as many links as possible between the various images, maps, diagrams and key terms they were given relating to the case study.
